Born and raised in Miami, this Latinx/Arab artist wants to proudly represent both her cultures. Moreover, she hopes to create and participate in stories that are inclusive of different races, ethnicity, genders, and sexual orientations. Elmir exhibits this in her new full-length play ‘niveles’ which follows a Latinx family in Miami as they struggle to survive a super hurricane that catastrophically floods the city, while also dealing with generational/cultural clashes, plus the supernatural elements of their past and present.

Elmir’s collective experience as a writer exemplifies her dedication to diverse stories on all media platforms. Contracted through Surge.io, she wrote and edited 20 five-hundred-word articles a week which were published on sites like The Blast, MSN, and Yahoo! Within a three-month span of same-day deadlines, her articles promoted positive reflections of women and people of color along with pop culture analysis.

Moreover, through her position as a freelance SEO article writer at TFC Marketing, she’s ghostwritten product copy for a wide array of corporate websites and clients. With this experience, the topics touched upon included CBD benefits, boba tea trends, skincare routines, dog and cat breeds, and even helpful tips for hybrid car shopping.

Additionally, she sung in Writer/Director Jamie Levey’s variety show Laugh It Off, booked commercial work, still books regularly as a background actor, and continues to star or co-star in short films like The First Snow and A Death in The Powder Room.
